FAQ

BIRCON is the premier Berlin International RPG Convention, a tabletop role-playing game convention in Berlin. It features a wide variety of games, vendors, and side quests. It is a growing, yearly event that attracts TTRPG enthusiasts from Berlin and beyond. Sometimes far beyond!

BIRCON 2026 will take place on October 10th and 11th at the Vollgutlager, a former industrial complex in Berlin's Neukölln district. The venue offers a unique atmosphere and ample space for gaming, vendors, and side quests.

BIRCON is open to everyone who loves tabletop role-playing games, regardless of experience level. Whether you're a seasoned player, a game master, a collector, or brand new to the hobby, you'll find something to enjoy at BIRCON.

We don't have any age restrictions, but parents should use their discretion when bringing young children, and check that any games they sign up for are age appropriate.

BIRCON is an inclusive event, welcoming people of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities. We strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, and ask attendees to respect each other and follow our code of conduct.

As with previous BIRCON events, if you do not wish to appear in photos where you can be easily identified, “no photos/videos” signifying badges will be provided for you to wear upon request. This enables the BIRCON team to ensure your identifying face does not appear in any photos used on our website or our social media channels. This also alerts other attendees of your preference to not appear in any photos or videos that they may make of their experience.

Please note that our code of conduct stipulates to also ask for permission before taking any photos or videos where another person can easily be identified.

Please read our privacy policy for the full information.

BIRCON prohibits the distribution and promotion of content such as text, art and video, that is created using generative AI tools such as LLMs, Diffusion Models and similar tools at our event and in materials relating to the event. For vendors and exhibitors, we have asked for compliance with this policy, and will not permit any products or services relying on these tools.

We cannot, however, police content on a per-session basis. If a game session has been created by or contains material generated by AI/LLMs, we ask that they be clearly designated as such so that players might make informed choices about their contact with this material.

We have weekend passes as well as single day tickets for sale. All ticket sales our handled through our partner platform TTRPG.EVENTS.

You are entitled to a full refund up until 25 September 2026, 15 days before the event. After this date, no refunds are available. Contact us for refunds.

We will have hall passes for €5 for sale on the door for anyone wishes to peruse our vendors but not participate in any games or sidequests.

BIRCON 2026 will be held at Vollgutlager in Neukölln. The address is Rollbergstraße 26, 12053 Berlin.

There is currently substantial scaffolding in place on the front of the building that houses Vollgutlager among others. We had hoped that the work there would be concluded by now, but it was not to be. Look for the Vollgutlager sign, the lights, and the BIRCON posters.

The entrance to the Vollgutlager's main hall and facilities is wheelchair accessible, with several small ramps. Unfortunately the upper gallery, with the artists' alley and a couple of side quests is behind a series of stairs.
