BIRCON is an inclusive event that welcomes participants from all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
🚫 Zero Tolerance
We have zero tolerance towards bullying, racism, and other violent, hateful, or ignorant behavior.
⚖️ Berlin Code of Conduct
Our convention follows the Berlin Code of Conduct standards for community events.
Expected Behavior
🎲 Respectful Gaming
Treat all players, GMs, and participants with respect and courtesy during games and interactions.
🗣️ Inclusive Communication
Use language that is welcoming and inclusive. Avoid discriminatory jokes, comments, or behavior.
🎯 Consent in Gaming
Respect other players' boundaries and comfort levels. Use safety tools like X-cards when appropriate.
🤔 Mindful Participation
Be mindful of shared spaces, noise levels, and the comfort of other participants.
Unacceptable Behavior
The following behaviors will not be tolerated:
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind
- Discriminatory language or actions based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or other characteristics
- Unwanted physical contact or sexual advances
- Disruptive behavior that interferes with others' enjoyment of the event
- Threats of violence or aggressive behavior
- Hate speech or promoting harmful ideologies
- Deliberate misgendering or deadnaming
- Photography or recording without explicit consent
Reporting Issues
If you experience or witness behavior that violates this code of conduct, please report it immediately through one of the following channels:
👥 In-Person Reporting
Speak directly with any event organizer or volunteer. They can be identified by their staff badges.

Use our contact form to report incidents confidentially.
Our Response Commitment
All reports will be taken seriously and handled promptly and confidentially. Event organizers will work to resolve issues fairly and may take appropriate action including warnings, removal from specific activities, or removal from the event.
About the Organizers
BIRCON is organized by RPG enthusiasts from Berlin, including members from Mottokrosh Machinations, Chaosium, VS RPG Berlin, and other community groups. We are committed to creating a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
