About Us

Berlin International RPG Convention (BIRCON, hereafter) is organized by BIRCON UG (haftungsbeschränkt), and consists of a group of people putting extra time in to make this convention happen out of love for the hobby. You can contact us in a variety of ways.

Data Collection

BIRCON does not collect any personal data except for first and last name, and email address, and even then only when expressely provided via signing up to our mailing list/newsletter or buying a ticket.

We do not use any cookies on bircon.berlin.

Like all websites, certain information is automatically collected when visiting by our web server (logging), and exposed to BIRCON in an anonymous, aggregated fashion, which is impossible for us to link back to an individual. We do not use any client side logging.

Data Usage

Any information you submit to us is used only for express purposes for which it was offered. They are:

• Mailing list/newsletter: By signing up to our mailing list you agree for us to email you with news about the con. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Tickets: By purchasing tickets you agree for us to contact you about any ticket related information or issues.

Data Disclosure

BIRCON never discloses any personal information to third parties except Buttondown, our mailing list provider (see their privacy policy), and TTRPG.EVENTS, our ticketing and events management provider (see their privacy policy). TTRPG.EVENTS is run by one of the BIRCON UG members.

Deletion of Data

You can exercise your right to withdrawal of consent and deletion of data at any time:
