The Tangled Dark
GM: Christie Fremon
Description
The Tangled Dark. A place of darkness and shadows, where things are never as they seem. Some see the place as a death sentence. Others see it as a desperate last resort. You call it home. In this adventure, you and your fellow players will help grow the The Tangled Dark world seed into a uniquely magical place. You'll then play witches who live in or near this disorienting and dangerous magical place, investigating a disturbance in your home. You'll take risks, stand for what you believe in, and listen to the heart in order to discover the truth and give the sort of help that witches give.

Additional Information
In Her Footsteps is an emotional story game where 2-5 people roleplay as witches and weave tales about magic, the unknown, and the paths that connect us all.
This game centers feminine experiences — and is inclusive of trans women, cis women, and people of any gender who see something of the feminine in themselves. It explores themes of otherness, found family, and interconnectedness.
It is a Powered by the Apocalypse & Powered by Lesbians game, which uses 2 six-sided dice to find out whether a character succeeds, encounters complications, or a more mixed result. However, seasoned PbtA players may find that this game has a few differences which give players more narrative input in outcomes, give unique opportunities for witches to resist their Banes, allows for group magical casting, and gives Wild Magic itself a chance to be awoken.
This game is completed and in playtest. This session is being run by the game designer, Christie R. Fremon, who has designed and published several other games and supplements — including Thirsty Sword Lesbians supplements published in Advanced Lovers, a supplemental essay for Girl by Moonlight, and supplemental playbooks and settings for the lyric game O Nata Nox.
