Going For Broke
GM: Jan Kabasci
Description
Going For Broke, the new story game by venerated designer Avery Alder, is a fast-paced sitcom roleplaying game about a collective house scrambling to get enough money together - but never managing so, always resetting the status quo. It is played in increments of episodes, which ideally last around an hour, so the goal with this session is to play a mini-season of 3 episodes.

Going For Broke is GM-less and light on rules, which is a boon, but that also means that there will be a lot of improvisation required both for playing your own character and thinking about the story as a whole. However, as moderator I will be having a special eye on the flow of the story itself, and I encourage both newcomers and veterans of (unstructured) story games and role-playing games as a whole to sign up. If you want a simple, fun and, above all, funny start into the con day experiencing what it is like to live in a sitcom world, this is the session for you.
As safety tools, we will be using the X-Card (meaning unappreciated content can be vetoed) and the Open Door (meaning anyone is free to leave at any time).
