GM Guidelines

🎲 Multiple Game Submission

Submit a separate form for each game you want to run. Each game that gets accepted gets its own €10 voucher reward.

🎟️ Entry Required

You'll still need a convention ticket to attend - GM rewards are offered separately from your entry.

🗣️ Language

Games at BIRCON are primarily run in English. If all players are comfortable with another language, the GM can choose to run the game in that language at the event.

🤝 Community Focus

All systems are welcomed! Participation in any game table is open to all ticket holders, and games should align with our values of inclusivity, diversity, creativity, and respect.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the deadline for submitting games as a GM?

The deadline was 19th September 2025.

Do I need to have my adventure completely planned before submitting?

No! You can submit your game idea even if you haven't finalised all the details. Once the game is accepted, you'll be able to finalise the details in the online platform.

Can I submit multiple games?

Absolutely! Submit a separate form for each game you want to run. Each accepted game earns its own €10 voucher reward.

Do GMs get free tickets?

No, GMs still need to purchase a convention ticket. The €10 vouchers and vendor discounts are additional benefits on top of your ticket purchase.

What exactly do I get as compensation?

For each game you run, you receive a €10 voucher for food and drinks at the event, plus a 10% discount on Mottokrosh Machinations products, with potential additional vendor discounts.

Can I set the limit of players for my game?

While the maximum number of players per table is 5, we ask GMs not to limit the number of players below that in order to give everyone maximum opportunities to participate in as many games as possible. If space and games availability allow, we can discuss exceptions for smaller groups.

Should I run one-shots or can I run campaign sessions?

One-shots are preferred and most common, but campaign sessions are possible. Most games at previous events have been one-shots.

Are new players welcome at my tables?

Yes! We encourage GMs to welcome new players. Many of our international attendees are eager to try new systems and experiences.
